Objectives

General Objective

The general objective is the creation of a European Model for the Identification and Validation of non formal competences related to enterprising skills in women.

Spcific Objectives

Identify the enterprising competences (knowledge, skills, capacities) achieved by women in different non formal learning spaces (home, employment position and labour market, community / voluntary work, education, leisure spaces, etc.)

Contrast and improve existing enterprising competences map with those effectively developed by women in informal spaces, with the objective of articulating a sole model of general use in order to foster self- employment. It is also intended to incorporate it to vocational training systems, improve counselling systems and for human resources selection and management within the firms.

Design a European tool for the validation of enterprising competences that will be applied to active business managers in order to analyse the adequacy between those identified in the different groups that those that are actually found within real entrepreneurs.

Elaborate and validate a trans-national model of enterprising competences with the appropriate methodologies to acknowledge and foster enterprising competences in different communities and contexts in the labour market (training activities with women and youngsters, human resources selection, support for self employed and promoter groups, etc.)

Put forward recommendations at European level to promote entrepreneurship culture among the population, on the base of the acknowledgement, acceptance and fostering of the necessary tools to transform entrepreneurship a cross cutting capacity and a European value.

Evaluate and analyse the transferability of the model to different educational, training and employment contexts at European level.
